The in2vate Mission

Our Story

Our journey began in 1995 as Labor Consultants of America (LCOA), with an emphasis in providing hotline services (e.g., the Employee Protection Line®) to employer organizations. Soon after, we developed The Watch® (a comprehensive risk management program for employers, including live training, resource guides, and workbooks).

In 1998, LCOA evolved into The AGOS Group (AGOS — an ancient Greek word meaning leadership). In similar fashion, as we transitioned from LCOA to AGOS, our programs and other service offerings transitioned to the Internet as we developed pilot and ultimately leading programs incorporating online elements. Over the next 10 years, AGOS would take the original Watch and Employee Protection Line concepts and introduce a host of web-based offerings through the AGOSNET® platform of resources, including SmartTrain.com®, Smarter Adults—Safer Children®, and the Student Protection Line®.

2010 marks our progression from AGOS to in2vate, llc, to better complement who we are and the clients we serve. The name in2vate invokes two of our primary values — innovation and partnership.

"Innovation" reflects our commitment to technology — specifically, to the leveraging of technology, along with all other professional services, to help multi-dimensional organizations better manage risk. Now more than ever before, risk is understood to be anything that has the ability to impact your own ability to achieve your objectives ... and we are passionate about supporting your efforts to minimize risk and maximize success.

And the "2" symbolizes our desire to partner with our clients in bettering the lives, organizations, and environments we touch. Our values, as well as our experience, tell us that relationships are paramount, and we remain fully committed to our core value of integrity in all that we do for you and with you.

Drawing on our primary values, such as innovation and partnership, in2vate offers a wide-ranging catalog of online training courses, along with live training and consultative services. And in2vate's newly enhanced learning management system allows us to customize our training and other content for you ... and it allows us to include your own training and other content as part of a seamless and comprehensive web-based platform designed to help you better manage risk.

Above all, the name in2vate embodies the vision of where we are and where we will go ... together. We endeavor to experience this vision each day — as individuals, teams, and partners — through acts of engagement and empowerment in order to fulfill our mission with integrity.
